Crabby Sleeping Position

October 13, 2009

Maybe it is quite a long journey from home to school. Ajib was sleepy and tried to have shut eye for seconds before reaching his school.

Hubby was quite concern as Ajib was usually chatty in the morning. However, it was quite a quiet morning. Ajib’s body was slightly curled and his hands were unmoved.

“Sleeping like a a crab..” Daddy commented. Liya thought it was funny. Me too. We remembered the deep fried crabs we ate last weekend at Bagan Lalang.

Sunset & Seafood

October 11, 2009

BeachIt was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The driving took us nearly 2 hours. Westward direction most possibly.  Ajib and Liya played on the beach but as the sunset approaching, they got too busy with the sandcastle and incoming waves.

We had about 1 kilo of fresh prawn cooked in 2 portions: buttered and breaded. The local fish tasted so juicy and sweet. Everything was perfect until the allergy triggered somewhere past midnight and that was the price for great seafood dinner. The family was happy during dinnertime and that was pleasurable, enough for me to combat any reactions.

Plans for School Holiday

May 20, 2009

Must try Mickey's cakeGoing to Disneyland Hong Kong is out of question now because of the swine flu. My husband and I would not dare to risk the family. It would have been fun for Ajib who is now 101.1cm tall and passed the height criterion.

We will discuss with the kids. The tour to a bread factory is qColmar Tropicaleuite interesting but it will be more fun going to a chocolate making camp. Hands-on activities are more appealing to children. They enjoy being messy and crazy making, moulding, stirring, pouring and more. On a second thought, Liya and Ajib love Colmar Tropicale; from feeding the swans to going to the Japanese Garden. We have wanted to go on to the horse trails. Liya loves riding. Ajib has started his training too. I’ve always wanted to do more of my children. Never mind I don’t know swimming or play any musical instruments but I’d love to provide the opportunity for Liya and Ajib. Potential undeveloped is a waste. Before we know whether any child is talented or born with ‘it’, exposure might open up a new doors to the world for the. They will be more confident, enjoy living and contribute back to the others.

Bagan LalangOr should we just laze ourselves watching the sunset and chasing the baby crabs?  Nature intrigues all. I used to love canoeing. Will try to do it again. Perhaps, Liya would like to try the Banana Boat. But then, myLake Banding husband and I plan to introduce the kids to Jahai tribe who are jungle dwellers in Royal Belum State Park, northern Perak. Interesting stories can be read at Belum Outdoor Adventure.
