Form 5 students will be sitting for the SPM exam in November – December 2009. Parents of candidates are now a bit panicked while some students can sense that the pressure to excel is rising day by day. Although it is unfair to judge an individual on the merit of performance in exam, it serves as an acid test to select individuals whether for their academic ability or character judgment.
Having a standardized test helps to see where we stand relatively to others. Yes, some say this is suicidal and very competitive. The entire schooling years; at least in secondary school, end with SPM. It is up to the individual to make it with flying colors or not. The SPM can be considered as Doomsday. It is coming your way, slowly but surely.. and once and all, give it your best shot!
